Typographische Monatsblätter Archive
In a comprehensive feat of typographic and archival endurance, Louise Paradis, along with the guidance and support from friends and staff at the ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne, has launched the Typographische Monatsblätter Archive, an impressive and extensive archive dedicated to celebrated Swiss typography journal Typographische Monatsblätter.
The archive, which focuses on the years 1920-90, gathers three decades of typographic research and inspiration from one of the pinnacles of contemporary typographic publishing. Featuring stunning covers, typeface identification and interviews with many of the magazine’s contributors, it’s a resource you can find yourself investing hours in exploring.
Searchable by cover, issue, designer and interview, Typographische Monatsblätter Archive is a comprehensive archive that you’ll find yourself returning to again and again whenever the need for a little typographic inspiration arises. Stunning.
