Check Your Colours
According to the press release, CheckMyColours is:
“a tool for checking foreground and background color combinations of all DOM elements and determining if they provide sufficient contrast when viewed by someone having color deficits.”
Using algorithms suggested by the W3C, the site calculates luminosity contrast ratio, brightness and colour difference on each element on your site and displays the rather technical results in a well considered, thoughtfully designed page. Overall, a very impressive beta release, not at least because they spell the word colour right.
